Description

Chicken superstar is a Sunday dish for all the family. The sweet and intense flavour will travel you to your lost childish. Children will love it!!


Ingredients

  • 800.00 gr Chicken, breast, casseroled, meat only
  • 3.00 tablespoon (tbsp) Wheat flour, white, plain
  • 4.00 tablespoon (tbsp) Olive oil
  • 2.00 teaspoon (tsp) Garlic powder
  • 90.00 gr Tomatoes, sun dried
  • 2.00 pinch Oregano, dried, ground
  • 3.00 tablespoon (tbsp) Paprika
  • 500.00 gr Cream, fresh, double, including Jersey cream
  • 1.00 item Stock cubes, chicken, average, item
  • 150.00 gr Cheese, Parmesan, fresh
  • 0.50 tablespoon (tbsp) Salt
  • 1.00 teaspoon (tsp) Pepper, black
  • 3.00 tablespoon (tbsp) Lemon juice, fresh
  • 3.00 item Bay leaf, dried, average, item
  • 1.00 tablespoon (tbsp) Cornflour
  • 150.00 ml Water, distilled


Preparation

  1. Place the chicken in a bowl with the flour. Coat it well.
  2. Use a deep frying pan over medium heat and add the olive oil. Place the chicken breasts carefully in the frying pan and brown them on each side for 10 minutes. When the chicken breasts are ready, remove them to a big plate.
  3. Lower the heat and use the same frying pan. Add the fined cut sun-dried tomatoes and the garlic powder. Stir well and smoke it for 5 minutes to get a nice light brown colour.
  4. Add the following ingredients: double cream, salt, ground pepper, paprika, dried oregano, bay leaves and fined grated parmesan. Stir well and simmer the sauce for 10 minutes to homogenise the ingredients. It is recommended to use sweet paprika.
  5. Dilute the chicken cube in 100ml of warm water and add it to the sauce. Give a good stir to the sauce mixture.
  6. Place the chicken breasts into the sauce. Make sure that the sauce covers 3/4 of the chicken breasts. Put the lid on, and cook it for 25 minutes. In the middle of the cooking time, open the lid and turn the breast upside down.
  7. At the end of the cooking time, remove the lid and check that the chicken breasts are cooked throughout. Add the lemon juice. Give a good stir.
  8. Dilute the cornflour with 50ml of water and add it to the rest of the sauce. Simmer it for 2-3 minutes to help thicken the sauce.


Chicken superstar is ready, and everybody will love it!

Best served with white parboiled rice, which is not included in the nutritional facts.
